Nothing to see here I guess. Russia selling China a carrier, fighter planes, missiles, and damn near everything else, probably doesn't mean they're friends either.
Not a military alliance. Also i think you mean Ukraine.

It is not a military alliance. They sold India the same. Are they allies with two sworn enemies?

"Over the past few years, the organisation's activities have expanded to include increased military cooperation, intelligence sharing, and counterterrorism.[10]There have been a number of SCO joint military exercises. The first of these was held in 2003, with the first phase taking place in Kazakhstan and the second in China. Since then China and Russia have teamed up for large-scale war games in 2005 (Peace Mission 2005), 2007 and 2009, under the auspices of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation. At the joint military exercises in 2007 (known as "Peace Mission 2007") which took place in Chelyabinsk Russia, near the Ural Mountains and close to Central Asia, as was agreed upon in April 2006 at a meeting of SCO Defence Ministers, more than 4,000 Chinese soldiers participated. Air forces and precision-guided weapons were also likely to be used. Russian Defence Minister Sergei Ivanov said that the exercises would be transparent and open to media and the public. Following the war games' successful completion, Russian officials began speaking of India joining such exercises in the future and the SCO taking on a military role. Peace Mission 2010, conducted September 9–25 at Kazakhstan's Matybulak training area, saw over 5,000 personnel from China, Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan conduct joint planning and operational maneuvers.[11]
The SCO has served as a platform for larger military announcements by members. During the 2007 war games in Russia, with leaders of SCO member states in attendance including Chinese President Hu Jintao, Russia's President Vladimir Putin used the occasion to take advantage of a "captive" audience: Russian strategic bombers, he said, would resume regular long-range patrols for the first time since the Cold War. "Starting today, such tours of duty will be conducted regularly and on the strategic scale", Putin said. "Our pilots have been grounded for too long. They are happy to start a new life"."

    Article 14
Relationship with Other States and International Organizations
SCO may interact and maintain dialogue, in particular in certain areas of cooperation, with other States and international organizations.
SCO may grant to the State or international organization concerned the status of a dialogue partner or observer. The rules and procedures for granting such a status shall be established by a special agreement of member States.
This Charter shall not affect the rights and obligations of the member States under other international treaties in which they participate.
    Compare to...

Article 5 of the Washington Treaty:

The Parties agree that an armed attack against one or more of them in Europe or North America shall be considered an attack against them all and consequently they agree that, if such an armed attack occurs, each of them, in exercise of the right of individual or collective self-defence recognised by Article 51 of the Charter of the United Nations, will assist the Party or Parties so attacked by taking forthwith, individually and in concert with the other Parties, such action as it deems necessary, including the use of armed force, to restore and maintain the security of the North Atlantic area.
Any such armed attack and all measures taken as a result thereof shall immediately be reported to the Security Council. Such measures shall be terminated when the Security Council has taken the measures necessary to restore and maintain international peace and security.
Just saying. Stay on your lane.

Nothing will happen. They will find something that will satisfy both parties.

Who said Ukraine was there? Ukraine sold the Carrier to China, not Russia. That was the hint Rubick gave you. You have grave reading comprehension issues.
I put forward that Article 14 of the SCO charter stipulated that there was no reciprocity fineprint in the SCO. Every state can relate to the SCO, or can deal with it alone. I did not saw Chinese paratroopers descending on Georgia in 08/08/08. Did you?

Joint military exercices in the field of counter terrorism is not the same as having a complete C² chain. You might compare the structural organization of both. There is not such thing a military high command (bar the Regional CTS/RATS). So again back off.

When the topic at hand was SCO why should I think he meant something else when he said, "I think you meant Ukraine"? As for your Georgia/China example, I didn't see American paratroopers decending on the Falklands. Does that mean there's no military agreements between the US and the UK? I've never seen any American paratroopers decending on Syria. Does that mean we don't have any military agreements with Israel?

Because you made a mistake. You said that the Russians sold a carrier to China. They did not.

You are comparing the SCO with NATO. There is nothing to compare. NATO is a de jure and facto Alliance. The SCO is a cooperation pact that aims at preserving mutual interests. China and Russia have mutual interests that are converging and diverging. Hardly an ALLY. That you have military agreements with X, Y, or Z does not change the fact you are not allies.

Furthermore do find me a military agreement with China that alters Russian doctrine, the way NATO shapes the Military doctrine of the EU. Please do. And when you do come back to talk. Now back to trolling.

SCO is closer to Organization of American States or the Arab League than NATO.

They have a cooperation agreement to propagate mutual interests, but it doesn't have the kind of territorial defense or mutual command and control like NATO or the Warsaw Pact had.
