Hehe Argentina is trolling hard.
Question..... Does anyone have an actual Photo of the War Memorial for us to see just so we can see what is possible for that Man to have seen?
Judging by the video shot, it does not blatently show much anything of the memorial except for steps so I imagining that component to the clip was not necesssarily done for propaganda/slap in the face purposes as it might have been simply, these are steps available to do that... That said the whole video is obviously propaganda silly
The UK should really just stage a type of Event at the Falkland Islands with of course every race/competition starting with the Anthem and of course Brits all standing up hand over heart... (Maybe do it for the Para Olympics I mean who in europe would really care to miss them and it perfectly sticks it to the Argentinians.... if one is so spiteful)
Too bad Battleship isn't a Olympic sport, the Brits would totally win that game.
This is just low, did the argentinian government film this?

From a marketing point of view, I thought the ad was very clever and edgy. It appealed to the emotions of the customers.
In Argentina it is not uncommon to tie sports and patriotism in TV commercials. Especially during the run-up of the World's Cup.
I don't think there's anything that precludes anyone from videotaping someone running in Stanley. After all, the Falkland Islands is a democratic entity.
In terms of relations between Argentina and the Falkland Islanders, its a major set back. Over the years, I think much progress was done in terms of goodwill visits and people to people reconciliation. Filming the ad on the islands only betrays whatever trust that was built up over the years. I'm afriad that it may affect future Argentine visits.
To counter this public relations campaign, the Falklands should hire Saatchi & Saatchi and go on an ad campaign to place a human face on the Islands and Islanders. I would target Latin American newspapers, magazines, billboards and television media.
scroll down the page on the link. it has a picture of simon weston sitting by the memorial: http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage...-war-dead.html
