Default Aggressive maneuvers with an autonomous quadrotor helicopter

In a couple of years from now on, these technologies that are now being tested in labs will be deployed on the battlefield.

Look for yourself and then decide:-

    man-hack.
Once these things can fly without the computer externally tracking them via the IR camera and position sensors, it will be scary!

When our children or grandchildren go to war in the future this is what they will face...

The Skynet joke is not even funny anymore, we are setting ourselves up for failure, seriously.

Sure some COD kidiots will have their circle jerks over how tacticool robotics are but the machines will kill us all in the end...

Caves- no I don’t think so, rather sophisticated urban warfare and in any case it is deadly sophisticated designed smaller craft.
These smaller craft, as I also did found out in my PhD study on DEW some time ago, are developed with the urban warfighter in mind. DEW in this case literally means speed- of light.
    They feature:
    1. Laser-range finders
    2. Miniature laser-guided missiles
    3. Sophisticated IR video surveillance
    4. Sophisticated software already developed to do area-control and to fly autonomously in a pre-programmed sequence – which you may find strange but these craft can do it.
    5. Loitering over a designated target is also included, as these can be used to target specific persons-of interest.

Dangerous littlr things, probably shotguns with birdshot and skeet training will belong to a future soldiers life. Also helps against things like switchblade UAV.

They will be even more prevalent in the US over the next years with congress telling the FAA to 'prepare the National Airspace for UAS's "

Depends on what you want to do with it. You can develop a monitoring loop in your software to check - and also how you are going to use it. Remember the devices are designed to be use din a covert surveillance/ covert strike usage and that implies that it will sit still as well only to observe via on-board cameras.

I hope not - it will be sad for America but if the need are there then they will deploy them - guaranteed.

Skynet - remember the serious UCAV going around in the first edition looking for targets!
