    Volvo cars is owned by Chinese, not Volvo AB.

    Oh, looks like the Hawkeye is only the weapon system itself, without the truck. Interesting concept. Have they tried it on a Humvee and / or M-ATV utility carrier?

    The platform it is mounted on needs to fall within certain parameters in order to maintain the 360 degree firing capability, in a pinch side struts could evercome that problem but it would then loose some of it's shoot and scoot feature.

    Don't confuse the footage of live fire testing with its intended operational use.

    And it is 6 rounds per minute for sustained fire.

    So it has an M102 Howitzer Breech and Tube modified for truck mounting
