Default HMS Ocean squeezes up Thames

HMS Ocean, on deployment in the Thames as part of the Olympic security preparations, had a close encounter with the Thames Barrier as it made its way up the river.
The ship, which was being led by tug boats, squeezed through the central gate supports.

I trust it'll be launching a preemptive amphibious assault to deal with the twats who rioted last year before it kicks off again?

Should stick some Apaches on there for riot control purposes!

I'm very glad to see her there, she'll be a useful self-contained base for bootnecks and other forces on standby for anti-terror ops, all the weapons, helos and other kit they might need in one handy package. I guess there's not a lot of free real-estate in London to set up an FOB!

What happens if there's a crisis overseas somewhere and its low tide on the river?
    Can it get out?

That was damn tight at the back.... some brown underpants as that tug at the rear tried to pull it back or am I wrong?
Would be nice to see some Apaches on it as well. What role can it play in ground to air missile defence "shield" ?

Then Brittania is screwed. At least until it is high tide again and HMS Ocean will arrive on station 12 hours late.
Seriously you've been at sea too long to post such questions.

2 high tides, 2 low tides a day. Won't be that bad every 6 hours.
