I wouldn't be so quick to jump to the idea that all jihadists embrace death so willingly when faced with the real situation. Shoot a rifle at a Taliban member and he dives out the way sure enough, or if he see's an F-16 rolling in I'm sure he's going to turn tail and run pretty quick. Same principle for shunting a wife in front of US SF when they come knocking. They did the right thing.
