From 23 to 25 April 2012, Kandak (battalion) 36 of the 3rd Brigade of the Afghan National Army (ANA), supported by French Soldiers from Battle Group (BG) Picardy, planned and led an operation in southern valley Tagab in Kapisa, operation Green Stork, the operation was aimed at strengthening the freedom of movement in the area by continuing the disruption of insurgent groups active in this area. (Released 4th May)
