Well I guess we can stop sending our food exports to Jordan then. We can travel and spend our money to other locations other than Jordan. Then from there they can burn all the flags they want.

Although it can be seen as a bad joke, it takes some longer and deeper interpretation to see the meaning.
If, and i highly doubt it but never say never, a jordanien reads this, they should think about their behavior and what war means.
It shouldnt be something they should wish for when they cant take the consequences bc they are too fanatic, stupid or whatever.

Thats a shame, I was in Jordan last year. And it seemed like such a nice place, people were quite friendly, and didn't seem to have gone completly overboard in terms of being extreemist.

Hell, I saw some pretty fine young ladies wearing no burkas or anything. Love at first sight! But I bet my inlaws would hang me

Fanatics don't have any. Only thing is will mainstream Jordanians follow/be pushed by them and shape policy?
Is there any specifics in the 1994 treaty would be "advantageous" to reject

We reap what we sow. And we totally have it coming if we lust for war without reason and substantiation. Frankly, I wouldn't shed a tear if those "thousands of Jordanians" found themselves entangled in war one fine day.

Entangled in a war with my son? I would prefer that doesn't happen. I already have the experience and I would prefer to spare him that.

Because of a few crazy protesters? There's 6.5 million Jordanians, going to hang them all out in the cold because of a few MB crazies?

That is right. We should see those "thousands" of protestors in relation to the overall Jordanian society. A few loudmouths can destroy a lot of international image whereas the "silent majority" is sticking to the 1994 treaty. Idiots surely exist in every country, mine very well included.

As Islamists grow stronger, will King Abdullah have to resort to brutality to save Hashemite kingdom?

Replace that with Syrians or Libyans or whatever (not saying it is the same) suddenly taking action seems to be more...complicated.

There's going to be another war on the scale of '73 coming within 10 years there's no doubt about it.

A civil war being waged in each country bordering Israel within the next 10 years seems more likely to me.
