There is so much raw talent in the Russian teams in the last few years, its kind of sad that they are plagued by poor play. Look at the 2010 Olympic team! So much talent yet they did so poorly. I don't know if its the same thing that makes most all-star teams a disappointment (Too many people trying to be stars, too few trying to be a team) or if its two different leagues and style of play being too disparate.

I bet the Swedes or Americans will win this year.
And I'm not saying that cuz I'm Swedish but because of how they have looked so far. I might have to eat those words later on, who knows.
We'll be playing Russia this Wednesday (I think), we'll see then how good we really are.
4-1 agains the Czech is a really good result. And the Czech only scored because our rookie goalie made a rookie mistake

Looks like Getzlaf and Perry had some fun time in Bar Circus Getzlaf was seen hanging outwith ex-Miss Finland Sara Sieppi. After the Bar closed there was some brawls between Getzlaf and a group of men.

Getzlaf: "I will drop you all in 3 minutes"

The Swedish Hockey Association, or whatever they're called. Those in charge of the ticket prizes, you know.

Anyway, the association has faced a lot of criticism from Swedish NHL stars as well as the media for their ridiculously high ticket prizes. Let's hope they they actually listen to it. I mean, they say they need a lot of money to be sustained for ten years, or something like that. But the fact is, when the prizes are so huge, no one will come see the games. So, why not lower it instead, from 1500 SEK, or whatever it is, to say 600 - 800 SEK. That way people will actually fill up the arenas and they will get their money, and the teams will play better because of the support of the fans.

    Norway is trolling the Czecs

Bleh...we couldn't set a single penalty. Still, Norway is hitting way above it's belt

Yeah, didn't even fill "Globen" in the opening game, embarrassing for Sweden.
