    Default Schleswig-Holstein state election 2012

    Results of the 2009 election

CDU (Peter Harry Carstensen): 31,5 %
    SPD (Ralf Stegner): 25,4 %
Alliance '90/The Greens (Monika Heinold and Robert Habeck): 12,4 %
    FDP (Wolfgang Kubicki): 14,9 %
    The Left/SED (Antje Jansen): 6,0 %
    SSW* (Anke Spoorendonk): 4,3 %
    Pirate Party: 1,8 %
    Other minor parties: 3,7 %

The result was a coalition between the CDU and FDP because of the horrible german electoral system: Overhang seats

*: In german elections a party needs to achieve at least 5% to enter a parliament. The only parties that are excluded from this rule are parties of national minorities. Such as the danes, frisians and sorbs.

Prediction of the ARD(Infratest Dimap) and ZDF(ForschungsgruppeWahlen) of 18:00.

    CDU (Jost de Jager): 30,5 % | 30,5 %
    SPD (Torsten Albig): 29,5 % | 30,5 %
    Alliance '90/The Greens (Robert Habeck): 14 % | 13 %
    FDP (Wolfgang Kubicki): 8,5 % | 8,5 %
    The Left/SED (Antje Jansen): 2,5 % | 2,5 %
    SSW (Anke Spoorendonk): 4,5 % | 4,5 %
    Pirate Party (Torge Schmidt): 8,0 % | 8,5 %
    Other minor parties: 2,5 % | 2,0 %

    Oh boy...

I agree. They voted Kubicki not the FDP.

But I can't fathom how these idiot Pirates can actually draw so many votes without having to say something about the important fields in politics. Crazy.

Hm on one side you have parties who claim to know how everything should function while they know nothing.
On the other side you got a party that doesnt claim to know everything.

    Fun.

Hahaha, a clear victory for the FDP over the ****storm unleashed by the German leftist media conglomerate

There is even a good chance of the liberals staying in the government of SH. And the communists got kicked out.

I guess I'm the only one here who'd take offence at the fact that a party will lead the new government that actually didn't got the largest share of votes?
Oh boy, and don't get me started on the Pirates. An unconditional basic income? Free public transportation and the freedom to download at no charge whatever you fancy?

    Madness!
