Some poor people trapped and being sequeezed in the front, with hooligans pushing from behind. Very dangerous situation.

These poor people are too stupid for not to see that this situation had to happen, because organizers planned it from the start.

I think after so much nonsense from the opposition, only complete dumbs could visit this event, so some of them got what they deserved

Peoples protests against dictatorship and risks their life and freedom are dumbs?

Putin rules like a f.g banana respublic dictator for decades. You realy think 99.6% vote for them (chechnia and other north cauc reps)?

Only the true models of society resort to throwing fire bombs at the police.
Hopefully they followed up with him afterwards, he needs a good valve adjustment.

I guess time will tell if this fashionable thing implodes like OWS

BS The timeline was like this:
The protesters started off from a metro station and matched to the square the rally was supposed to be held.
1 OMON created a bottleneck in the second row of the metaldetectors. All participants already passed a metaldetector check at the metro station.
2 A few of the first protesters slipped through but the larger mass couldn't what you see in the video is before the bottleneck, the Bolotnaya square and metaldetectors are through a narrow passege not visible left of the screen.
3 This got most of the protestors pissed off. Opposition leaders asked their supporters to make a sitting ralley.
4 Anarchists, and radicals who were among the crowd decided to break through to the cremlin and attacked the police. That you can see on the Video.
5 OMON used this as an excuse to break everything up and arrest those that didn't and couldn't participate in the breakthrough.

It is the bolsheviks and the nazis against the dictatorship? Very funny...
I did not vote for Putin, but these marginals I will strangle with pleasure.
I have had enough "orgy of democracy" in 90th - hardly not destroyed a country.

Why should the people in Chechnya vote against him?
If the rest of the candidates swore to stop feeding them?

People like you are ignorant and blind! You won't destroy Russia again like butthurts like you did in the 90s.

I know several people who either attended the protests or supported them. They are neither communists nor fascists nor radicals but are in fact members of the so-called professional middle class and intellectual elite. They are Russia's hope for economic prosperity in the next 10-20 years.

Simply classifying them as dumb because they dont tow the party line or actually want their voice of protest heard is naive at best, criminally apathetic at worst.

It's a shame that the protest movement is being simultaneously hijacked by radical idiots and swept aside by the state.

Do you know who in the photo? This is a "liberal democrat"?
If there are idiots who have not learned anything in the 90s, it's their problem...

Yeah it goes with the territory however classifying them true protestors as professional middle class and intellectual elite is the same as calling them all dumb.

If they really are the future of Russia in 10-20 years christ you better hand them the keys to the Kremlin already shouldn't they? Seriously though reality doesn't work that way. Who pockets the money and power even if such a change in political leadership were to happen? A ruling class of the few and wealthy that also considers itself intellectually superior to its subjects. The emerging middle class will be the ones powering the protest but if change ever does come from it (which I seriously doubt) will be the elite running things as usual with little to no change for those that put them in power. I'm not calling them dumb either.

Btw these protests are tame compared to 2010 Stanley cup Riots.
