It's not so much a race issue as a culture one. Most British born asians/pakistanis are just as appalled as everyone else, but there's definitely an attitude among many immigrants from that corner of the world that white women are trash.

Hell, with some of them, you don't even have to add 'white'....

    Grooming trial: Defence lawyer's 'concern'

Speaking outside the court, Alias Yousaf, a lawyer for one of the defendants, Adil Khan, said that his client would be lodging an appeal, as he had concerns that a member of the jury had communicated with the British National Party during its deliberations.

    Aint that the truth :P

As for the story...yeah its a sad fact of the Pakistani community in the UK, heard about it for sometime now

Sadly, Im sure a lot has to do with the sons learning their worthlessness of women from the home...they just take what they learn out.

The apple doesn't fall far from the tree. Look at how their moms are treated by their dads. You'll see. Throw in some historical baggage and self-generated grievance issues, and brown(?)-supremacist thoughts, and complete emasculation of themselves financially, educationally, and perhaps even ******ly by 'the white man', and then you begin to see the seeds of their garbage ideology. ****** abuse of women is sadly the epitome way quite a lot of men in life commit to try to prove or assert some kind of power that they don't have.

If karma is anything real, they'll be groomed in prison :P

You've misunderstood the whole thing, if you reread the statements made it might become a little clearer to you. The police can't find a racial motive in this case but they aren't saying that similar crimes don't have racial motives as you incorrectly assume. The difference between what Mr Vaz and Mr Shafiq say is a little more subtle than that. The fact that there is over representation amongst Asians doesn't automatically mean that there is a racial motive involved.

MP Keith Vaz also said "no particular race or religion" tended to be involved.
I never mentioned racial motives, there denying it's a problem with the Pakistani community which it is.

David Starkey risks fresh controversy by claiming that Asian men jailed over a major child ****** exploitation ring were “acting within their own cultural norms”.

I don't like the whole "herp derp Londonstan" rants. But to brand them as asian men is pretty sweeping and offensive. I'd certainly be pissed off with it if I was an Indian Sikh or Hindu. It is clearly an issue in certain secotrs of the Muslim community. The attitude towards non Muslim women, especially white English ones. Lets just call a spade a spade ffs.
