Pffft.... sure it was the "CIA" whom we have to thank for,

but we all know who was really behind all of this operation:

Either way, a success story for the CIA.

The truth would eventually come out since the 'terrorist' was released and back in Saudi Arabia. I can't believe the CIA would do something like this.

    "Double Agent"
Does the term not imply Alqaeda believed he was working for them within a foreign installation of some sort, amercan, saudi, yemen when he was in fact working for the yanks or the saudis?

I was wondering the same thing. Wasn't he just "an agent"?

Double agent isn't entirely accurate in this instance but it's probably the closest thing. You could compare him roughly to a dangle.

Whole f.ing thing's been s_e_xed up - kudos to the Saudi's for getting the guy in there and JSOC if they got him out. Langley and the Feds get all the credit Still, I guess that's the way the Saudis want it...

Who the hell straps a weapon like that to their *******ia? What if it only fizzles? Ouch.

I think this person was an undercover agent, no? Not a double agent. Or did I get it wrong?

I hate it when the CIA succeeds. It's so much easier to bust on them when there's pics of burning plane wreckage and distraught relatives.

You know we've been running your "MI6" ever since that whole Cambridge spy thing. You guys leak more than a Triumph.

I thought that was the Russians? Jeez the CIA's gone up in my estimation - it was recruiting sources sixteen years before it was formed
