Pffft.... sure it was the "CIA" whom we have to thank for,
but we all know who was really behind all of this operation:
Double agent to Al-qaeda: hi guys suggest a plane bombing, I volunteer for the job, I supply materials, I choose target and timing ....
Al-qaeda: yeah sure go ahead
Double agent: busteeed!!! You evil masterminds!!
Pffft.... sure it was the "CIA" whom we have to thank for,

Either way, a success story for the CIA.
The truth would eventually come out since the 'terrorist' was released and back in Saudi Arabia. I can't believe the CIA would do something like this.
"Double Agent"
Does the term not imply Alqaeda believed he was working for them within a foreign installation of some sort, amercan, saudi, yemen when he was in fact working for the yanks or the saudis?
Double agent isn't entirely accurate in this instance but it's probably the closest thing. You could compare him roughly to a dangle.
Who the hell straps a weapon like that to their genitalia? What if it only fizzles? Ouch.
I think this person was an undercover agent, no? Not a double agent. Or did I get it wrong?
I hate it when the CIA succeeds. It's so much easier to bust on them when there's pics of burning plane wreckage and distraught relatives.
The tout was a Brit - so clearly it was MI6 not the CIA

Don't you just hate it when these Johnny-come-lately colonial types try to steal our glory old boy![]()
