Last year Turkish media outlets reported that Turkish intelligence sources handed authorities a list of 174 IDF officers and soldiers who were involved in the raid. However, Ankara soon realized that the list – which included named of soldiers who had nothing to do with the raid or were discharged prior to the incident – was inaccurate.

I would have thought the Turkish Govt. would have all it's attention on the unfolding Civil War in the nation state that shares a long (and porous) border with it.

Yet they seem to love flogging a dead horse on this flotilla issue.

Might be an attempt to distract attention from the economical problems Erdogan faces (increase of inflation, short term debt, downgrade of Turkey's rating by S&P…)

This indictment means nothing until Sean Penn formally endorses it to the media.

Erdogan needs justification to continue hostile relations with Israel. Israel isn't actually doing anything to Turkey and is ignoring all of Erdogan's fits, so he has to continually invent new things to be butthurt over (and we see the reports of "Turkey chases Israeli fighter jets from its airspace!", "Israel is spying on Turkish pilots!", etc.). In this case though it's more of an old favorite.

Benjamin Netanyahu should fax them a picture of his flacid balls and call it a day.

    So true...

2 years ago this would have probably made the main news broadcasts but even the Israeli media is quite bored with with this.
