Fetuses and gay marriages is where it's at, people. Nothing else matters.
After hearing "it's gonna fail, it's gonna fail" from all liberals in my state, it was very satisfying to see the smackdown. 61% in favor, with 93 of the state's 100 counties voting yes.
There's a reason we had this vote in May and not in November, and that's because we DIDN'T want the 2012 election to be about this issue.
THANK GOD! Now we can get back to the real issues affecting society, like the CIA underwear bomber that was never a threat to anyone anyway..![]()
And now marriage is safe, from all those clearly defined threats that the gays posed to it. All those very, very clearly defined threats. Anyone who asks what those threats are, clearly hasn't gotten with the program, because those threats are so obvious that we don't even need to explain them.
less government control/regulation! except when it comes to abortion and marriage.
i'll tell you what though, i hope it does stay a state issue and that the federal government never does get involved.
Good on the North Carolinians! Bring back some form of sanity.
Finally!
A state decides to put the foot down, enough of the pandering.
Of course we can now hear all the liberals baaaaawing about this.
States rights. That's how social issues should be handled, IMO.
Yep, put it to a vote, let the people decide.
Now, if they were to put up a vote against inbreeding in North Carolina, that would fail miserably.![]()
