Secret Air Force X-37B Space Plane Mission a 'Spectacular Success'
http://ca.news.yahoo.com/secret-air-...101409352.htmlThe U.S. Air Force's secretive robotic X-37B space plane mission continues to chalk up time in Earth orbit, nearing 430 days of a spaceflight that — while classified — appears to be an unqualified success.
The space plane now circuiting Earth is the second spacecraft of its kind built for the Air Force by Boeing’s Phantom Works. Known as the Orbital Test Vehicle 2, or OTV-2, the space plane's classified mission is being carried out by the Air Force Rapid Capabilities Office.

And right after he posted this awesome thread. Someone was watching the watcher.![]()
Considering the accolades it acheived, there is no doubt that this spacecraft will be indoctranated into the airforce's arsenal. The only problem with it though would be to develop it further so that it can be launched into and return from orbit multiple times without alot of maitenence done to it everytime it returns from space.
I do love secret space missions. Always intriguing! Is it a "China-killer"? Probably not directly, but I'm sure these test flights will be used to inform new military tech.
