Secret Air Force X-37B Space Plane Mission a 'Spectacular Success'

The U.S. Air Force's secretive robotic X-37B space plane mission continues to chalk up time in Earth orbit, nearing 430 days of a spaceflight that — while classified — appears to be an unqualified success.

The space plane now circuiting Earth is the second spacecraft of its kind built for the Air Force by Boeing’s Phantom Works. Known as the Orbital Test Vehicle 2, or OTV-2, the space plane's classified mission is being carried out by the Air Force Rapid Capabilities Office.

Where is 2495 these days he's not been around for ages - he's probably in the OTV2 payload bay with a flask of tea, some sandwiches and an oxygen tank

I think the CIA has something to do with his disappearance here.

    Yep.

He disappeared right about the time the X-37B was launched.

    Do the math.

Considering the accolades it acheived, there is no doubt that this spacecraft will be indoctranated into the airforce's arsenal. The only problem with it though would be to develop it further so that it can be launched into and return from orbit multiple times without alot of maitenence done to it everytime it returns from space.

I do love secret space missions. Always intriguing! Is it a "China-killer"? Probably not directly, but I'm sure these test flights will be used to inform new military tech.

I've been thinking that since the date he said he'd return came and passed. Maybe he ventured onto government property to spot aircraft and landed in prison. Either that or he's sitting back reading all this laughing.

I think its because of the MP.net server crash when everybody had to reset their passwords through the email they signed up with..
But If your old email account is gone then you cant log back on..

Don't think so. You may be referring to DARPAs HVT which was lost in space.

Vandenberg AFB prepares for return of US military space plane after more than a year in orbit

VANDENBERG AIR FORCE BASE, Calif. - An unmanned U.S. Air Force spaceplane that has been in orbit for over a year is coming back to Earth.

The Pentagon's experimental craft, which resembles a mini space shuttle, is slated to land at Vandenberg Air Force Base in California. The exact date depends on weather and other conditions, but the Air Force said Wednesday it expects the landing to occur in early to mid-June.
