Norwegian military airpower 100 years

This year is the 100th anniversary of the first takeoff of a Norwegian military aircraft. During 2012 there will be numerous events in different parts of Norway, and they have painted a F-16 which will be flying displays in air shows. Looks nice.

100th Anniversary of the first flight of a military aircraft maybe, not 100th anniversary of the air force because the oldest air force (RAF) is still to reach 100.

nice... saw it yesterday above Helsfyr with a C-130 i thought it was training or something. wasn't easy to see the colors even when it was flying that low (400-500 meters)

Congratulations with 100 years in the sky, and i hope for hundreds of more years for the Norwegian air force to come!

100th Anniversary of the first flight of a military aircraft maybe, not 100th anniversary of the air force because the oldest air force (RAF) is still to reach 100.

The first military aircraft in Norway was put into service in may 1912, operated by the royal norwegian navy. The air force as a seperate branch during world war 2.

So, 100 years of air force, but not 100 years of the branch
