    P.S
And now I see you have changed your previous post as it doesn`t include the Stalin refference anymore... pathetic.
Keeping the mods happy by not making historical German references to that of the Israelis.

FYI Stalin had nothing to do with the Berlin Wall but facts are not your strong point anyway it seems.
Good for you, notice when caught he squirms out with another deflection rather than admit mistake.

Now that would be right up your alley now wouldn't it?

Apparently (according to your "logic") when it comes to comparisons, Nazi Germany and barriers hold more relevance than Nazi Germany and the indiscriminate murder of Jews as conducted by Palestinian terrorists.

This would be very funny if it wasn't sad.

I always thought the right to life was at a higher regard than the right to property.

Nevermind the fact that the fields of Batir which are at the center of this thread are actually on the Israeli side of the Green Line and Israel has promised to allow farmers passage to tend to these lands.

    Arbitrary? Arbitrary according to whom?

And governments can and do encroach on private property all the time.

Gotta agree.... for a couple hundred years in my young country. Gov't takes or builds on your property through eminent domain.
    Happens all the time.

    X2

Same thing in France, otherwise no roads, no railroad and no other public infrastructure could be ever built.

Nope they do not. No government takes land without compensation. And no protected site can be claimed for construction. France is a UNESCO signatory.
    No chance in Hell.

    Now the lawyer is in.
If you believe there's a legal case, go and plead for the villagers at the Israeli High Court.

Mhh I objected your idea that the French government would expropriate UNESCO protected sites without compensation. Nothing more.
If they have a case, Israel will find a way around or modify the wall. Simple as that. Unlike the Taliban, Israel understands what culture is.

There's already a road there, so there's no need to expropriate and the article does not say the wall would degrade the site.
