    I've listened to several podcasts so far.

    Highly recommended.

    I also recommend China History Podcast by Lazlo Montgomery. His narration makes it easy for common folk to understand Chinese history.

    Listen to this podcast.

    It starts out quite amateur, but the guy hits his stride around episode 25 and by the end, I find myself enthralled, counting the minutes left in each episode. Perfect for a commute.
    No fancy voices or artsy musing, his super dry humor and matter of fact "whaddaya gonna do?" approach to Roman history really struck a chord with me.

    Highly recommended, four stars, much better than CATS.

    check out Robert Byrd's lectures on Rome on youtube... very interesting insight and historical points of view.

    If you haven't already, check out Dan Carlin, a bit closer to entertainment than history, he nonetheless makes some really interesting podcasts.

    Have been listening to the History of Rome podcast ever since i read this thread.

    Its simply awesome. Thank you very much again.
    Its also so long that i didnt had any time for another podcast.

    I know what you mean kitatatsumi. So iam done with the History of Rome. God i feel bad.

    Never would have thought that a podcast could entertain or teach me something.
