Default Iran Opposition group says Iran is working on warhead

Iran is pursuing work on a nuclear warhead, Die Welt said, citing a report by the People’s Mujahadeen and a member of the opposition group.

Scientists are carrying out research in a five-floor building in Tehran’s Pars neighborhood and conducting testing at Iran’s Parchin site, the group said in a report it says is based on information obtained from people within the Iranian government and military, the Berlin-based newspaper said today.

The MEK has good sources that proved reliable in the past. It did reveal the existence of Natanz and Arak nuclear facilities at a stage they were covert and their existence unknown to the IAEA.

    That's not true.
The MEK doesn't have access to that kind of information.

It's much more likely that European and American agencies simply used this group as a medium to break the news for the public. And it's not like they didn't know what was going on in Isfahan and other parts of Iran. The Americans started the program and there is a thing called satellite. The Americans knew a program existed (they started it after all), they had the location and they had means of tracking Iran's progress. The MEK was simply used and like every other terrorist organization looking for acceptance, they played along.

    Just because a person doesn't have a driver's license, it doesn't mean that he/she can't drive a car
The Americans have a fantastic relationship with the MEK

I know all that. Whatever their sources were, the information they rendered public was accurate. That's the relevant point, so there's nothing untrue in what I said.

An interesting point in their report is that they reveal the names, address and phone number of 6 senior scientists that allegedly develop the bomb.

The report was revealed in German Die Walt, a language I don't know.
The Website of the Israeli TV Channel Harutz 10 (in Hebrew) says that the report reveals the address and phone of some of the 60 scientists whose names are given.

    The Jerusalem Post says:

The report and various additional charts outline the different offices involved in Iran's weapons program and identify some 60 directors and experts working in various parts of SPND and 11 additional institutions and companies affiliated with the program.
The Jerusalem Post got a copy of the report and published an article giving more details: http://www.jpost.com/IranianThreat/N...aspx?id=269634
