    Default Bikini Hockey League

I think this would be a hit with the guys....and some gals lol

    -----------------------

"As for the Bikini Hockey League, it's not going to be a gaggle of model/actresses. Some players already booked for the show have hockey backgrounds. Fox Sports mentioned Ashley Van Boxmeer, a bikini fitness competitor; if the name sounds familiar, that's because her father is John Van Boxmeer, Stanley Cup winner with the Montreal Canadiens and assistant coach with the Los Angeles Kings.
Two questions for the PD readers:
    1. Will you watch the Bikini Hockey League reality show?
    2. For the ladies in the readership: Does this offend you or are you cool with it?"

There's a reason hockey players wear all that safety equipment. I really don't see this as a good idea.

    No, I'm not gay.

Actually, if they reduced the amount of body armor hockey players wear these days, then there would be less injuries. Compare rugby and american football - same deal. More armor means players can hit at higher speeds with greater force. And that's when you get hurt.

It will obviously be no contact. But I can see some good ice rash from falls.

Has nothing to do with hockey.

Agreed. Look at players 15 years ago in hockey. Their pads were 1/2 the size. Now players look like some sort of damn voltron.

EDIT: Also, women's hockey is actually really good. I enjoy watching the winter Olympics women's events.
