He just quit.

He is going to concentrate on state Repub conventions and winning delegates instead.
He just quit.
So instead of getting delegates based on the support of the people in those states, his minions will set themselves up to become stealth delegates disregarding his lack of popular support in the citizenry.
So glad when hes out of congress but I wouldnt be surprised he flip flops on that as well.
Ron Pauljust called it quits — sort of.In an e-mail to supporters, Mr. Paul said he would no longer actively campaign in states that have not yet held Republican presidential primaries. To do so, he said, “would take many tens of millions of dollars we simply do not have.”But Mr. Paul made no mention of Mitt Romney, and he did not say he would spend time helping defeat President Obama. Instead, he vowed to continue pursuing a “delegate strategy” that would provide his movement influence at the Republican National Convention in Tampa, Fla., this summer.
I will continue posting news items, but there does not seem to be much point in trying to debate with Ron Paul haters. It is like trying to explain evolution to a hardcore creationist.
Paul is working within the Repub Party's own rules to increase his delegate count. He will apparently use that to get some policy concessions from Romney. It will be an interesting national convention.
I do not understand why he suspended his campaign today.... most of it was volunteers anyway. I don't buy the funds thing... He never had any money anyway
He did not suspend, like Santorum and Gingirch did. He just announced that he was not campaigning in the few states left. His campaign will still work with the delegate process.
And he did have a lot of money, a lot of grassroots money. I think he raised third highest amount of resources after Romney and Perry, without all the corporate support they have.
FFS seriously? He did not suspend, like Santorum and Gingirch did.
