    Okay.
Have fun with your UAV's then.

There's a reason cop cars are generally painted Black and White, and thats to make them stand out. Same goes for helicopters, they're loud, and always have landing and nav lights on.
A UAV typically wouldn't have this.
Here's a hypothetical scenario. You're on the freeway, and the speed limit is 65 mph. However, pretty much nobody pays attention to this speed limit, and I'm guessing this includes you as well. We're all guilty of doing this. Like everyone else, you cruise at around 75-80 mph. Then, on an on ramp, you notice a police car getting on the freeway. He stands out because of his black and white paintjob. Everyone else sees the cop, and immediately slows down to the speed limit of 65, and trail behind the cop, not daring to pass him because he is cruising at a steady 65 mph. Nobody gets a ticket, but everyone has broken the law by speeding at least 10 mph over the limit. Everyone is able to evade a ticket because they were able to recognize the presence of a law officer, and subsequently followed the law.
Now, imagine that this car was unmarked and decided to pull you over, even when everyone else was speeding, and you were the closest car to him, so you were a victim of proximity. Wouldn't you be a little indignant?
Life is tough dude. Sometimes you even get ticketed. That's the price we pay for living in a lawful society.

    This doesn't even make sense.

One would think the Democrats would have learned from their fiasco with Janet Reno. Nope.

    Doesn't have to.
If a tree falls in the forest, and a butterfly in Europe causes a hurricane in Japan... something happens somewhere and badda bing, badda boom, UAV's are now issuing you a ticket for going 10 miles over the speed limit.
Which you'll accept without question because you knowingly indulged in illegal activities.

Does that sign really mean anything? I see them all over the place, but have been in cars that travel 20 mph over the speed limit where these signs have been posted and nothing has happened. How does one enforce speed by aircraft?

I think you're unfamiliar with the term, if a tree falls in a forest and noone is around to hear does it still make a noise? The answer, naturally, is yes.
By your logic, if somone commits a burglary but noone is around to see it, the offence has not been commited.

So how will it differ from UAV's in the air? That argument is rubbish. Do you KNOW if anything has happened? Maybe they have been ticketed but you failed to notice? I still don't see how UAV's will be any different than any other aircraft monitoring speed in this case.

I believe they typically will determine the time it takes to get from point A to point B when doing speed enforcement via aircraft.

Do you fear toll booth workers?

The C.H.P. have aircraft that patrol and report you. Hell, I've seen a video from the 60's where the plane landed and issued a ticket to the driver. Been digging on Youtube but no luck.

I'm familiar with the term, I'm just playing around with semantics too.
And that doesn't equate to the scenario at hand. Typically if there is a burglary, an investigation will be made that will search for prints, evidence, etc. They can track the burglary to similar burglaries that have happened in the area, and see if there is a connection between them. Such things can be investigated.
If we can settle this, if the UAV's are only going to be used to enforce traffic, then that's cool, no problem with that.
Anything other than that, I'm not a fan of.

I've never had a ticket issued to me or people I've traveled with, I would have been informed through incessant bitching, believe me.
See the end of my post at Zorro.

Impartial Bias. Do you have Facebook and use Google? I'm gonna assume yes to at least one of those. They are much more intrusive in terms of privacy than these drones are gonna be.
