Had my 1st go on this today for just an hour or two and all I can say is 'awesome'. It's pretty eerie just walking around seeing zombies, some crawling. I saw no one but a helicopter and when I said via the ingame chat I could see it someone responded with 'where are you' and I decided not to tell them too much as I figured you don't have a chopper in this mod unless you're a bit of a devious bastard.

For an alpha this is pretty promising.

When i quit earlier i was trapped in the supermarket in zenogorsk or however that town is called
So far i too only once saw another survivor in the distance. And a few times i heard shots in the distance.

If you're talking about Zelenogorsk, I'm roaming around near there. Point me to a server and I'll be willing to help you out.

I avoid people unless i know them and are on ts3 or vent

I was thinking of shooting him or saying hello.. but I did not find the key for chatting and then he was gone

Also I still only have my pistol.. found some ammunition.. but no other weapons so far :-/

When I was playing earlier I was in need of something to drink and the supermarket in zelenogorsk was the closest and there were basically no zombies near it soi sprinted across the parking lot. collected some loot and when I look outside maybe just 2 mins later there was a hand full of zombies outside... don't know where they came from as none seemed to be close enough.. or if they just spawned there..

They are keyed to spwan on survivor activity, and randomly...same with loot. Ive had some luck with tossing out the cans and bottles, and freeing up a spawn point for better loot. Doesnt always work, but if you are doing a circuit between barns, houses, and deer stands, sometimes it does.
