    Default Israel Must Recognize Israel

Professor Uzi Ornan, a linguist and member of the Academy of the Hebrew Language; had sought to compel Israel's Interior Ministry to recognize his citizenship as “Israeli,” that is, a national born in Israel, rather than “Jewish," which he firmly denies.

With writers like Emily Hauser how could anyone take anything here serious? Jews that hate Israel, call Israel the occupier, imagine that.

What do you mean exactly? Why is it hard to imagine?
In my opinion it just is reality

The title is misleading as well as the interpretations in the article.

The problem lays with inaccurate translation of the Hebrew words used by the Israeli administration, probably due to cultural gaps.
All the Israelis possess the Israeli "Ezrahout" which means Citizenship/Nationality in English. But they belong to different "Leom" whose meaning is analogue to the word "Umma" in Arabic; a word which is often mistakenly translated as "nationality" like in this article. But this is an erroneous interpretation.

This so called "article" is a classic example of much ado about nothing.
