BELGRADE - Serbian Minister of the Interior Ivica Dacic confirmed that unidentified perpetrators belonging to an Albanian terrorist gang attacked the Dobrosin police department of the Bujanovac police station (southern Serbia) from the direction of Kosovo-Metohija (KiM) on Wednesday evening, and stressed once again that "we will not just stand there and watch our policemen being attacked."
No one was injured in the attack that took place around 2 a.m. only 100-150 m from the administrative line towards KiM, in the village of Stubline in the municipality of Gnjilane, that is near the place where the police department is located.
"Several short bursts were shot. Four policemen were on duty in the police station and fortunately, no one was injured," Dacic said, adding that another attack followed shortly, to which policemen responded with 10-15 bullets, thus ending the action.
This is yet another proof that the pledges about the preservation of peace in this part of the territory are just talk, Dacic added.
"This is a drastic example of the violation of the agreement with the international community and yet another proof that peace and security are at risk. We will not just stand there and watch our policemen being attacked across the administrative line. We are doing our job, as we have done so far. I expect that the international officials will react to this incident," Dacic said.

BUJANOVAC - The attack on the police checkpoint in the village of Dobrosin near Bujanovac in southern Serbia took place at about 1:45 am Thursday and it was probably carried out by three attackers firing three types of weapons.
“Based on the ammunition leftovers it can be concluded that they fired automatic rifles, machine guns and snipers of great destructive power,” Nada Colic, the investigating judge of the High Court of the southern Serbian city of Vranje, told reporters on the spot.
She said that the attackers came to about 30 to 50 meters distance from the police checkpoint and fired from the administrative line between central Serbia and Kosovo-Metohija, using armor-piercing ammunition.
"We can conclude that the intention of the attackers was not to intimidate but to liquidate the four-member police patrol at the checkpoint,” said the investigating judge.
The four policemen, two Serbs and two Albanians, managed to save their lives by throwing their bodies on the ground, helped by a pile of wood in front of the police checkpoint complex.
About 30 missiles were fired at the checkpoint, Colic said.
The Dobrosin village, with the checkpoint between central Serbia and Kosovo, is located at about 16 kilometers southwest of Bujanovac.
The village is known for being the place of creation of the so-called Liberation Army of Presevo, Bujanovac and Medvedja in early January 2000.
And one more source from B92
This comes 2 weeks after 8 Albanians have been arrested in southern Serbia, members of the aforementioned terrorist group and gang of murderers who called themselves the "Liberation Army of Presevo, Bujanovac and Medvedja".
5 of them for "war crimes" for their involvement in the murder of several people, among which are 2 teenagers on whose corpses they have inscribed themselves on to send a signal, several police officers killed by IED's, mines and ambushes, and several civilians, some of which they have burned.
One was arrested for the illegal posession of firearms.
And the last two braniacs because they attacked the special forces officers that were securing the area during the action to arrest the other 6. Talk about morons. Interestingly, one the men arrested for obstructing and attacking the police is Izet Cazimi, brother of the deceased Ridvan Cazimi, who as 'Commander Leshi' led part of the aforementioned ethnic Albanian terrorist group that the other arrested were part of.
So, eight people in total have been arrested - five for war crimes, two for resisting arrest and one for the illegal possession of firearms.
This looks like their murder-gang terrorist buddies who escaped across the border came to revenge them.
Here's a video from the press conference from two weeks ago when the terrorists/murderers were arrested, in which the interior minister presents evidence photographs of their victims.
