Olmert = worst PM in Israeli history. This guy is like a bad nightmare, he's the Jimmy Carter of Israel.

I think he is the only leader of a democratic state who managed to remain in office for quite a long time while having a rating of around 6%...

He appointed Amir Peretz to the ministry of defense...

Didn't the economy do well under Olmert?

I still consider Barak the worst PM in history, the main was a military hero but nightmare in politics.

I don't remember anything special with the economy during his term.

Neither is literally dividing the city.

The city's infrasturucture, services and commerce is too integrated.

A better option is joint administration.

Put together an autonomous city council with elected representatives of 5 geographical wards (2 israeli/2 palestinian/1 mixed) and 2 at large-representatives.
Have a rotational mayor's duties among the city council members (every six months).

The City council hires a City Manager to run the day to day affairs of the city (police, fire, planning, public works, administration etc...)
The Palestinians are probably one of the more incompetent group of people that banded together in modern times.

You can run your own cities with them, if you want to.

Don't you just love when outsiders come in to tell you how you should live

And operation Cast Lead and maintaining a good stable economy during a world wide crisis.

I would definitely claim that Barak's stint at the office, was far worse.

Usually it bothers me, but it's OK if it's Ordie.

maybe Barak was far worse, nothing coming from him is good, but I dont think Barak's as dirty as Olmert.

I don't get how anyone could say that Barak was worse Olmert.

At least Barak has red lines.
Olmert has none. It's blame Israel first, every time, no matter what.
