Seasch you obviously need refresher in timelines. the Wright Story comes from excepts from a Book written Last Year 2011 and published now where he interviewed Wright.

So, if Rev. Jeremiah Wright is off limits, then so is Mormonism, but you can bet the NYT and other outlets will start pumping articles about his history in the church.

@LD the book was written last year, but released this year. I haven't seen any indication, that Joe Ricketts and his campain knew anything about the book and those interviews. When was the first time, you heard anything about this bribe? I did somewhere at the begining of May 2012 and I haven't seen any information about this bribe in 2011, did you?

Doesnt make a difference, the interview was last year and claims are being made here that Ricketts somehow is behind the new Wright claims when Obviously he isnt. That Obamas associates are supposed to be off limits must be news to Bush, whos every business associate and Friend was investigated by the press, yet no ones supposed to ask about Wright or Bill Ayers the Domestic Terrorist?

The GOP is really reaching for low hanging fruit on this one. They COULD base entire campaign on nuking Obama over the economy alone not to mention things like the quagmire healthcare reform is turning into and his inactivity as far as those 'evul bankerz' goes but to keep dredging up shiat like this Wright guy? gonna backfire on them.

@LD As Obama isn't my president, I don't mind that people make his connections to Wright or Ayers public. My only claim was, that this new hype has little to do with the interview last year and book now.

I do think though that TYT do a good show, not that I always agree, but in this story and comparing Obama's and Romney's problems when they were younger (pushing vs. shaving and being sorry vs ignoring/denying) shows character. Hell, even the dog eating and dog ****ting stories make Obama look better than Romney.

But to be honest, such petty stories, even though they show some parts of the character, should not be that important in electing the PotUS.

To be honest, I think that Rev Wright and Obama long relationship with him is a valid target, as the left wing media did not do a very good job of vetting Obama in 08.

On the subject of Romney being a Mormon, maybe they will also highlight Harry Reid's and Jon Huntsman's LDS membership.....

One of the funny things is this, all the years I was in ALL the mormons I served with were VERY patriotic and love the U.S and what we were doing on the flightline. I have no issues with Romney being Mormon BUT I DO have issues with what our country has become AND will become if this administration stays in for another 4 years.

Mitty Romney being a **** to some kid in High School = relevant to his campaign

One of Obama's close friends and mentors handing out pro-Hamas flyers = sad infatuation and race baiting.

There's a saying over here that goes: "Tell me who you walk with, and I'll tell you who you are.". So there's nothing wrong with GOP exposing Obama's ties to that demented nutjob that is Jeremiah Wright.

Wright was a Marine. Does his behavior tarnish all of those he served with? Obama went to the church in Chicago that you go to when you want to be a player in politics in the black community there. It is the church. He is a politician. Duh. Or wait, is he a Muslim?

Please stop acting like tying Wright to Obama hasn't been discussed over and over for years, and a certain segment of the population would have no problem with turning it into Willie Horton part deux. Lee Atwater's style is still out there. Super PACs just make it easier to disassociate...

Romney being a Mormon will probably be fodder for guys like Bill Maher but lets not act like a whole bunch of fundamentalist sh*tkickers in his own party aren't too damned happy with the whole magic underpants thing either. I don't give a sh*t if Romney got all sadistic with some effeminate kid in high school, but the way he answered the questions about it, or rather didn't answer, is yet another example of the fact that the guy has zero skills when it comes to thinking on his feet. Surely you "teleprompter" critics have also noticed?

I really don't want to. Romney just annoys the sh*t out of me. I am dissapoint.

I didn't write the post above because I'm a fan. I just think the outrage on either side about stupid sh*t is laughable.
