LBT makes the 2168E, it's an all in one harness for the ALICE frames, and has two cells on the back IIRC.

I am going to get a new Medium Alice Ruck, then gucci it with one of those slick kits that trunkmonkey linked me too. Also going to throw on some better shoulder straps and a better kidney strap.

Anyone know where to get those with more padding?

If you're gonna go for the ALIpad, don't bother with padded shoulder straps, the pad does it for you. The hip strap, maybe though. Then again, my ruck is bastardized from ALICE, Canadian 64 pattern and 82 pattern bits.

Cant make personal purchases there, and the site it linked me back through will only let me buy the 10 pocket ruck....which is 732 dollas.

if you just want a good ruck, Tactical tailor will take your good ol' ALICE pack and do some seriously awesome stuff to it. I got one when i was stationed in ft lewis, haven't regretted the purchase since.
