You minister of interior can also be full of hot air, won't be the first time.
We are dealing with the same rings in Europe as most of your immigrants come from countries that send their immigrants to us too (as Kote as pointed, Egypt, Tunisia, Morocco, Cameroon, Nigeria........)
For these countries the rings are known and they are locals and with trans border ties (i.e for example somebody coming from Senegal to Spain is taken in account by a Senegalese ring, then a Moroccan/Algerian ring)
For the Sudanese, Erythrean, Ethiopian the rings are Egyptians mostly (often linked with Beduins smugglers)
Anyway i have a question : given that Israel is supposed to have one of the most secure border around the world, how do you explain so much immigrants end up there ? I know that you can't stop 100 % of traffic but that raised some question about your border security
and let s get this straight, israel as many countries in the world is full of ****ing SOB's too. We are not that special
The security is against terror and they come most of the time from Sinai. The border is long with no fence. A fence is under construction but won't be finished before the end of the year. Once they cross the border, they seat down and wait to be picked up by a patrol. The soldiers do not expel them back to were they came from (Egypt), because the Egyptians shoot them.
Untill recently there wasn't even a proper fence on the Sinai border.
IDF patrols round up African migrants they come across and take them in as sending them back the way they came is a death sentence at the hands of the Egyptians.
If the promises are anything to go by then the fence will be ready in October.
@Camera, Climber and Eitan and JGXL
Thxs for the answer
@JGXL
Well you still had patrols. But i got my answer, the illegals are indeed intercepted but not sent back.
Thanks. I am thinking about itObviously, you are much better informed than the ministry of the interior, you should run for office.![]()
sending back would be a death sentence for them, and they are discussing in the Knesset and High court on what to do, if deportation is possible or not. One thing is sure, the fence will have to stop them before coming. With the ones already living here, Some are real refugees some just opportunist. If is up to me , we have to integrate them......but I am living in Buenos Aires not in my kibbutz, so I have no word in this matter.
