    Default anti-nato protests worrysome

due to the fact most of the people involved have no other point against nato other than "militarism" and other bs the occupy protesters would say.
they dnt put into account that its a complex military alliance , and research cant be agenda driven.

the only good activists from the usa must be in other countries i suppose

They are called "morons." They are to be found in all human societies, throughout all of history.

Unfortunately you are so bloody spot on. Sometimes I wonder how humanity manged it to get down off that first tree without braking it's figurative neck.

Well, if the protests in Chicago showed anything, it was the fact that the"protest" suffered from over saturation. You had so many groups representing their per projects that any coherent message was lost. Environmentalsts of all walks, health care advocates, union people, anti-war, throw backs (Tom Hayden), anarchists, wanna be anarchists, etc. Top cop McCarthy said on radio Monday that they(Chi. police) basically handled everything fairly well and had identified a group of about 100 people (called them professional trouble makers) from NYC as chief instigators.

Funny, I read the local paper this morning and saw that a 20 yr old college student, and former high school honor student from my town (about 9000 people) was arrested for being a member of the Black Bloc Anarchists, inciting others to riot and throwing two bottles at police.

Exactly. Rather than coming together to protest for one, singular reason, they all went to their respective corners and lost the opportunity to be heard and taken seriously. That's what happens when you gather a bunch of attention whores together, and they all want their spot in front of the microphones and cameras. Everyone's in it for themselves.

That's been the far left's problem for decades. They don't really have protests but instead makeshift street festivals where every jackass with a bone to pick against "The Man" show up to spout off their own very specifi agenda. The end resultis nothing but mass public white noise

I was under the impression that a vast majority of these protestors don't even know what NATO is.

That is incorrect (I was there) - the other points regarding lack of coherant message and the o so photogenic "Black Bloc" are spot on. The police were very professional, restrained and in overwhelming numbers.

My favorite quote would be when we were playing scrum with the riot police and another photographer said "hey all the demonstrators are BEHIND us"

    Hypocrisy meter has exploded again.

These days the Unmanned Drones and NATO are the War Criminals.

Last time it was Bush and Blair are the War Criminals.

Theres a lot of people who still want to see Bush get charged with war crimes, only problem who's going to do it and if he gets charged just imagine the **** storm that could cause. As for Unmanned drones it's not the fact they are used but it's what they are being used on and where. Because lets face it unmanned drones are the future because they make sense for long term surveillance.

As for NATO i don't know whats really up with that nor do I care that much, But personally i think it's kinda out dated since it was really just a pact against the soviet union incase of the war that would have never occurred.

It will take a major war where these people will be fighting for their lives (or a zombie apocalypse) to get these people in contact with reality again.
What has become of the west? we protest for every flower cut, every ant crushed and every enemy treated like the enemy he is
