    Default Scuffle in Ukraine’s Parliament Thwarts Language Bill Consideration

    A brawl broke out in the Ukrainian Parliament on Thursday ahead of the consideration of a bill designed to expand the use of Russian language in the country, a RIA Novosti correspondent reported.Prior to the beginning of the voting, opposition deputies burst into the building of the parliament and instigated a scuffle with members of the pro-presidential Party of Regions.Parliamentary speaker Volodymir Litvin announced the end of the meeting.

    On the bright side, at least you can tell the Ukrainian MP's are genuinely passionate about their politics and are willing to fight (literally) for it rather than just sitting on their arses, collecting fat paychecks.

    Idiots, they would only benefit if they don't lose the Russian language! Nobody needs their awkward language at all.

    There's no bright side here. They may be passionate about this kind of politics, but not the kind that can actually help an average Ukrainian.
