For the contemporary part of the serial, all the Jews characters were rich people, living in luxious villas with swimming pools and driving sport cars, while the Arabs were quite poor.
This does not portray the reality. These were old antisemitic stereotypes.

He said he has been in Israel several times. So he may know a "little bit of true", if his visits were limited to Caesaria, where the Jews live in the serial. Maybe he has been even hosted at Bibi's home…

Lighting a fire on the Sabbath is absolutely forbidden.

Yes, among other things, it is strictly forbidden to light fire between the start of Shabbat, on beginning of Friday evening, and its end on the beginning of Saturday evening. (For the religious practice, the beginning of the evening is right after the sunset with the appearance of 3 first stars in the sky.)
The residents of the community of Yitzhar are practicing the religion in a very strict manner: I would even qualify them as fundamentalists to some degree.

While the majorty of Religious Zionists are Orthodox the people at Yitzhar are considerd Ultra-Orthodox so even among the settlers they are quite 'unique' (for lack of a better word).

A Jew is could be anyone from very religious to very anti-religious, fair skin to dark skin, etc. Just like anyone else. Stereo typing is again wrong.

    Indeed.

However this is an interesting fact that should be mentioned as many people outside of Israel seem to believe that all Ultra-Orthodox Jews are anti Zionists... which is a stereotype in itself.

The settlers in Yitzhar are the extreme of the extreme, they have been attacking the army repeatedly there for years, as far as I know no other settler community dared raising their hands at the army except them.

Have witnessed settlers throwing stones at the IDF in Hebron although those were rather rare and only occured around the time of the `Beit HaShalom` evacuation.

Yitzhar is well known for being a hub of the `Hilltop Youth` and of their opinions of how Israel should become a theocracy. Though they are Zionists that`s the only good thing I can say about them.

These guys, at this specific settlement, they are like the mullahs, the talibans, they are crazy fanatics, Maybe I am stereo typing but I know them and I dont like them. As Tank Alot and I said, the place stinks.
