Default "U.S. Special Forces have been parachuting into North Korea"

It appears US special forces has been going into North Korea on spy missions. They are looking at underground caves that go under the DMZ that could bring weapons into the country. If this is true, it could signal the U.S. is uping its efforts to watch the North. With now drought and starvation setting in, who knows what North Korea could do.

Yes, because 6 foot, fit mostly white Americans would be completly inconspicuous in North Korea traipsing around the place......yes the most clsed and monitered country's on the planet.

    Colour me suspicious.

They could be Korean/Asian US soldiers. Just saying. But the sole fact that some general is talking about it seems to discredit that it's true. I mean he knows that he might just compromise them, right?

Actually he said they send "Republic of Korea soldiers" the US soldiers probably lead the extraction of forces that have been sent in. but if this is true this is information the public does not need to know since it places future missions at risk..

Finally – and most dramatically – Tolley said a wireless power transmission system would allow his troops to jump into North Korea without heavy loads of batteries for their radios and other gear.

hmm if this statement is true anyone remember the train that blew up that almost took out the older Kim, at time North Korea said US was behind the blast and it was an assassination attempt..

Also if true I feel this is a major slip up on his part admitting to such operations to where press would get a hold of it.. second its going to open a new can of worms since North Korea may feel they are no longer bound to their promise to not send teams into the South and we are likely to see perhaps the North sending teams again into the South....

    wireless power transmission system
    A radio ?

The statement is most interesting by what it doesn't says. Infiltration by parachute, why not, but extraction ?? Can be done by land (underground tunnels ?), sea, helo...

But indeed, it's strange to speak publicly of activities violating peace agreement and sovereignty... this stuff should be covert and remain so.
