Altough, and maybe I misunderstood you, a theorem has a separate meaning from a theory in that(in my understanding) it really only applies to mathematics in the form of proofs, while a scientific theory has inherent limitations excluding any absolute proof.
edit. Realised that my phrasing "inherent limitations" might sound negative, but the falsifiability of theories is just what makes them good at approximating reality.
