It's only an issue if you are an idiot or Jerry Falwell or both.
I put it here, not in OT&H, because it may be a serious debate. For those who might feel offended, following links contain partial nudity:

There is no problem.
It's not being done for fun. It's a necessary requirement at certain times for the sustainment of human life.
I've been in close proximity to soldiers urinating and defecating on excercise and operations as well. That didn't bother me either.
I have to agree. It is a natural part of life. Not sexy or sickning, just what it is.
about kind of situtiation even if you see and feel annoyed pretend you didnt see and my personal idea its not disrespectful even we can say its respeful and can be example to many women all around the world.
The only ones who are offended are the one who are generally offended by the breast feeding. And they are the weird ones, not the mothers. Breastfeeding was the norm for the most time, it only recently that it became a taboo for some people.

Breast feeding in uniform is a natural by product of being a service member and a responsible mother at the same time.
Publicity for a cause in uniform on the other hand...
@nyusu...that may be the most intelligent thing you have posted up since joining MPN.
Im cool with it as long as I can see the nipple.
I don't care about this latest breastfeeding thing. It seems necessary. I have changed my mind about another aspect of this. I no longer support women in the military and think it has been a mistake.
Well for most time there is no alternative. Baby is hungry. You feed it. End of story. Did never trouble anybody. And still doesnt in many parts of the world for the simple reason of there being no baby food available for biggest part of human history. Comparing it to taking a dump is...
