    Possible escape from INEL?

But yeah, ain't nothing big surviving in deepwoods Idaho. Too rugged. Straight up or straight down, solid rock with some sand and clay, and no water. Also unbearable cold and snow for 4 months a year.

There's a reason why a large chunk of the middle of the state is called "River of no Return Wilderness" and is untouched. The land doesn't produce enough food for anything to live. That's why Idaho Fish and Game pointed at the USFWS and went "I told you so" when their Yellowstone wolves migrated directly into populated regions. The boonies is too tough of a life for wild animals. Large animals that were unfortunate enough to live there, especially predators, would need hundreds of square miles each to sustain themselves.

So, no bigfoot in Idaho. Sorry.

Up until the advent of the railways very few if people journeyed more then 10-15 miles away from their own city/town/village.

    Wars were extremely brutal.

Unless you were a member of the aristocracy or mercantile class life was bloody harsh. Think Africa but much much much worse

You often lived under extremely harsh rulers. Queen Elizabeth I one of the most respected monarchs of England killed more people in her first years as Queen then her sister did in her entire reign for example.

Most children did not survive past childhood. Remember there is no medicine in the way we know it today.

Put all these things together and for those that survive life is hell.

Now if you look at such creatures as the Werewolf and Vampire, fairy tales such as The Little Red Riding Hood and the like. What do they all have in common?

They all warn the reader/listener or otherwise explain that you don't go into a forest at night (wolves), Rulers are bloody thirsty arseholes (Vampires) and noble women are not to be trusted (Cinderella, Snow White)

What they all have in common is warning about the dangers of life. Be weary of those who bare gifts and fruit. And going into a forest at night is just ****ing stupid.

To the left is the excercise yard, toilet and concrete bathtub.

First door on the left is the padded cell. 2nd door is the individual cell for isolation. Door at the back is the main cell.

I just want to say, why isn't there a team of scientist in a lab going "we should try to make some mythical creature like dragon, bigfoot, unicorns, and maybe a cyclops because he have the technology we just need the funding."
Lets face it if some group said they want to genetically modify a lizard inorder to make a dragon or going to make a bigfoot, we all would throw so much money at them it would almost be considered a stoning.

we would've found something concrete by now, either a living specimen, corpse, or fossil remains

you can find the footprint, but not the bones ? all the episodes can find a "print", but no one tracks the print

we can find escobar , saddam, and OBL, but we can't find bigfoot ......

It means you often take things seriously that are not serious, and although you have nice sociologically interesting answers, often true, they are not really always relevant to the quips and repartee we are engaged in.

You list one thing as magic and exempt others. And then give a nice answer that doesn't explain why. It is an expanation of the origin of European horrors, maybe, and could be extended to Native legends as well however, it has nothing to do with the point.

    None of them are real.
