I actualy just watched TT Closer to the Edge -movie this week. Hutchy almost lost his leg in that crash after IoM-TT. I think that movie was one of the best sport documentaries ever. There was so well told what is going on in a head of a racer. "Lights are on, but nobody is home." ..that was about all TT-riders. But there was much of universal stuff about racers. One of the best was after Guy Martin crashed and he said to the para medics that do not cut my leathers! I watched the movie with my dad.. both of us started laughing because we have both lost expensive equipment for paramedics with scissors during our years.

The racetrack is called the Mainland....or the South Island for those not from these parts.....for the ignorant, the Mainland is widely recognized as the world's largest racetrack......1 lap is approximately 2000km
It took me a couple of minutes to work that one out, I must be running slow tonight, maybe it's the beer.

Yeh, he was a lucky boy to avoid anything really bad with this incident, like Monkman said, he was probably runnning around 170MPH. Out of all the dangers these guys are up against with the TT I imagine birds are near the bottom of the list, except for getting mobbed on the podium if they win.

    Guy Martin's a hoot!
