I can't believe what some people write in here.
Because that regularly happens when a politician or their commanding officer visits them in a hospital? Also, their names and ranks get published.

I think Herman was referring to "fresh" wounds, i.e. wounded soldiers photographed immediatly or shortly after being wounded in action. Not some rather "boring" photo-op with politicos in your hospital, handing out medals and "get well soon" messages. May happen in the United States for example, but not here.

Either way, I haven't seen any. Not even on the official KFOR homepage.

Some members might believe everything KFOR or Bundeswehr say is the gospel truth, which is well within their rights, but my skepticism is well within mine. I fully believe some KFOR soldiers got hit by rocks, baseball bats or some other blunt objects, but firearms? I don't buy it.

    Latest from bundeswehr.de:

Short english version: The soldier that was shot through his arm was flown to Germany and hospitalized in a BW-installation.
After the mission was over several other soldiers were treated with small and minor injuries. Luckily nothing serious.
Several German vehicles got damaged by bullets.

No offense meant, but KFOR or the Bundeswehr command a greater credibility than your unwarranted scepticism. Besides, there won't be any pictures from the official German side simply because under German law they're not allowed to release them unless the concerned soldier agrees.

No offense taken, but my skepticism is hardly unwarranted, since KFOR is the peace mission under who's watchful eye two thirds of Kosovo Serbs got ethnically cleansed, the 2004 pogrom happened, and that in 2011 dumped all pretense of being neutral, shooting up my fellow citizens (yes, they are the citizens of the Republic of Serbia), in the failed attempt to put the North under Pristina's authority. To put it bluntly, I take everything KFOR says as a lie, unless backed up by hard evidence (which rarely occurs).

Oh, and does the Bundeswehr need the bullet-ridden vehicle's permission to publish it's photos also, or...?
