To understand this bizarre sentencing of a man who should’ve been celebrated as a hero, one has to understand the schizophrenic nature of the Pakistani state itself. Among the community of nations, Pakistan today stands out on one hand as a petty thug brandishing a dangerous weapon, and at other times as a concubine, sleeping with anyone willing to pay for her expensive tastes.

Jinnah leaned toward her, dropped his voice to a confidential note, and wagged his finger. “Russia,” he said, “is not so very far away.” The Cold War had barely begun and here was the founder of Pakistan trying to benefit from the impending clash between the USSR and USA.
For 65 years the U.S. has succumbed to Pakistan — until now.

Yup a concubine isn't a whore nor is with someone for money.
It's the exact term you should employ when a man and women live together but aren't married, back in the day it was often between two people of different statute (a noble and a commoner for example), they didn't marry because of legal reasons (mainly the family didn't want the concubine to have claims) but the children where recognized by the father.
It's often employed as pejorative, because the Church always frowned upon such thing, but it's in theory not money related.
Pakistan is a whore, nothing else.
But she's always burning up these days! (nuclear weapons)
Oh and she is finding her some baby daddy too and she gets her fix courtesy of the US tax payer.
