Sorry its a few days old, but currently he's left Camp 4 and is at 16,000 ft acclimatizing. Sams My Bro from Iraq. He was hit on July 4th, 2005 around 2200 that night. He had fist sized holes in his left thigh, chest, had face and throat injuries and his left upper bicep was de****d to the bone, the musculature laying on his lower arm and his brachial artery severed. He was bleeding out in my truck as we got him to the CSH. Honestly didnt think he was going to make it,and I didnt see him again till Mar 17th, 2006. At Landstuhl he was accidentally given an Overdose of Morphine and had to be resusitated. to show you the spirit of the guy he threw a July 4th Celebrate the Big Bang Party in 2006 for the unit. He never gives up. So excuse me If I am Inordinately proud of him and his accomplishments since that night almost 7 years ago.
