Pretty awesome nonetheless. Will the vampires rise again when the iron nails turn to dust?

The main "wave" of Vampirism was later, in the Baroque age around 1700, centered around Austria and eastern Europe (apparently it comes from slavic folklore) but spread to Germany and France.
At that time, the existence of Vampires was widely believed but all but the most enlightened of men.
The age from 1680 to 1700 was the time of the last great plague epedemics in europe, so maybe that was connected.
Yep, people seem to like to fill in the blanks when they don't know.

From his location I gather he's already got the garlic issue sorted out. All CR has to do now is to buy a broad-rimmed dark hat and some vaguely sinister long coat of the same color and he's in business!

A good opportunity for Bulgaria to make money.. Romania does this years now with Dracula and Bran castle.

From the article: The finds in Bulgaria have sparked interest from vampire enthusiasts all over the world and the country may seek to capitalise on its pagan heritage.
