F*ck you, how is that statement untrue? I don't love Obama, I think he's made a sh*tload of bad calls. That doesn't suddenly make Romney Teddy frigging Roosevelt.
Looking at his record, other than RomneyCare, his opposition to gay marriage and his support for gun control, I do not see what makes him such a sh1tty Governor. He cut spending, though the Dem legislature foiled a lot of other cuts he tried to pass. He closed loopholes in the state tax code. He tried to lower the state income tax and get property tax relief for seniors. Unemployment in the state dropped during his term. He vetoed low in-state tuition rates for illegals. He raised veteran bennies for Massachusetts National Guard vets, got free tuition for returning active service vets, and got tax credits for disabled vets. He tried to reinstate the death penalty for certain serious crimes, and got the law toughened up on repeat DUI offenders. He fought a pitched battle with Dems to wrest control of the 'Big Dig' project from the Massachusetts Turnpike Authority to clean up the corruption, cronyism and incompetence. Overall, especially considering he was dealing with a hostile legislature, I think he did pretty well.
