9/11 Memorial Vandalized

Browsing the 'net earlier today and found this story:

As hard as it may be to believe, the 9/11 memorial placed on campus here at UT Tuesday night has been vandalized.
Apparently, some cowardly and despicable individuals snuck onto the amphitheater Wednesday night and removed all 3,000 flags. They moved them to Humanities Plaza (about 100 yards away) and replanted them, spelling out "The World Suffers."

Damn that chalk is really hard to get off of stuff. Thats a good idea to have a lynch mob though. I know that's excactly what the Flag and the Statue of Liberty stand for, mindless vigilante "justice". Of course this is the new era of preemtion so lets have some F.B.I. agents and State Troopers show up at their dorm rooms. Let's tap their phones, search their homes, get some librarians to cough up their reading habits. Who knows these terrorists might move up to something really deadly, like finger paint someday.

Seriously though, I don't think this was the proper place to show their disapproval of Bush and his war on Iraq. But let's not "hang 'um high" lets just have them pay a small fine and be done with it.
