As many times as some of these guys get arrested, they should be more familiar with certain state and federal codes than their attorneys are, yet they act like it's their first time at the rodeo, and sit there looking confused. "Indictment, what's an Indictment?"

We didn't do arrests unless they had a warrant or gear (or weapons or something illegal) and even then I didn't do them. This was usually triads and the like who we'd tip out for various reasons. Most of the time they didn't have gear and Customs law is pretty unknown to a lot of people. They just don't realise that at the border Customs have traditionally had more powers than the po-lice

Lac, you know better than to go and point out what's actually required of LEOs when they serve a warrant. After all, our many eagle eyed arm chair experts (who always seem to pop in whenever a law enforcement thread is posted), with their vast array of legal knowledge (they watched Law & Order), and many years of law enforcement experience (you know, zero to none), are hear to educate the ignorant masses about the abusive and unconstitutional actions of the evil jack booted government thugs (law enforcement officers acting in the performance of their duties), who illegally (it must be illegal cause some on the internet said they can't do that) storm into homes in the middle of the night (because everyone knows criminals will kindly open the door, if you just roll up, knock, and nicely ask for them to come with you) randomly gunning down the occupants (because we all "know" that happens every day), before high fiving each other, and heading out for beer at the local cop bar.

I wonder what happened to the ones in this thread?

I mentioned there are about 600,000 commission officers in the US. With a 40 hour week, that is 24 million man hours per week. That is a lot of work........
