    We didn't do arrests unless they had a warrant or gear (or weapons or something illegal) and even then I didn't do them. This was usually triads and the like who we'd tip out for various reasons. Most of the time they didn't have gear and Customs law is pretty unknown to a lot of people. They just don't realise that at the border Customs have traditionally had more powers than the po-lice

    I wonder what happened to the ones in this thread?

    I mentioned there are about 600,000 commission officers in the US. With a 40 hour week, that is 24 million man hours per week. That is a lot of work........
