"Ethics-based approach to security and anti-piracy"?
Yes, because BW did such a fantastic 'job' and Iraqis and other companies alike speak of them with such fondness.
Neither have we. Touch wood and long it may continue.
And yes I have, since late 2003. And I still am. I'm no expert by any stretch, but I've been in the game long enough to have an opinion.
I'm not a fan boy or airsofter, James. I don't post anything I can't back up. I'd consider myself pretty up to speed with the Iraqi operational environment.
The reason I made the comment was LineDoggies dismissal of a start up company he apparently knows nothing about saying they aren't BW and therefore 'won't get the job done' to use his words. As if BW was the be all and end all and no one else knows what they are doing.
BW may not have lost a client, but they were deeply institutionally flawed and anyone who worked there between 2004-2009 knows it. I deal every day with the legacy their attitude left us. They weren't the only offenders by any means, but they were certainly at the top of the pyramid.
Ship security escorts through the GoA transit corridor is hardly Tier One stuff. A bunch of companies are doing it every day. So I'm wondering what experience LineDoggie is basing his opinions on to discount a company's ability to prosecute a relatively simple mission set simply because they are new to the game. We all were once.
