The real question is which side of fans kicked the others sides butt better, I hope the Polish fans won that "fight"

I've yet to see the proof for that claim.

The police detained 185 hooligans. Just 25 of them were Russians.

The question is - who is guilty? Polish hooligans, who attacked Russians or Russians, who traveled through Warsaw with red stars, hammers and sickles and other commies symbols. Try to understand that for many Poles red star is equal to swastika. Marching with red star in Warsaw is like marching with swastika through Tel-Aviv or walk into "US black district" wearing Ku-Klux-Klan uniform.
Even my mother was really shocked, that someone was stupid enough to make such provocation.
We shouldn't attack Russians, but they shouldn't do something like that in Warsaw. Can you imagine Poles with portraits of Stefan Zolkiewski (Polish hero, who captured Moscow) marching on Red Square?

I can. Only it is doubtful anyone would recognize who he was

People are allowed to act like nationalistic douchebags only once every two years nowdays - WC and Euro. So lets not act all shocked and butthurt about it, especially when noone got seriously hurt. I engaged in some petty football hooliganism myself in younger years (within the confines of the Russian league), so no judgements for either side here. It's fun to let loose and get into a brawl sometimes, especially with no heavy artillery like chains, knives, or traumatic pistols involved.

WTF why were Russians marching through Warsaw celebrating 'Russia day' anyway? And WTF is this holiday even about anyway?

This sounds like a deliberate provocation on their behalf.

Common sense would say pretty stupid thing to do on behalf of the Russian fans. They obviously have some sort of inferiority complex if they feel the need to do that.

Yeah they must have pretty small ****s.

Not worth attacking them though. A few raised eyebrows, that's all the attention this stupid idea deserves.
