Also in Poland steward is a person who is responsible for safety during match and everyone (including Russians) are obliged to respect him and obey his orders. That is called civilized standards. Maybe it is legal to throw something to the field in Russia and maybe in Russia there are no stewards and everyone can do everything on stadium, but it is Poland and we don't accept such behavior here. Accept our rules or travel back to Russia.
Cut the holier-than-thou bull**** please. Listening to you people might get an impression that the Polish fans only live to respect the rules.

We are talking about EURO here. Polish fans didn't fire single flare during EURO so please don't derail thread. If you want to talk about different matches make different topic.

There were 14 matches during EURO. During 2 of them there were violent incidents. Which matches? Russia-Czech Republic and Russia-Poland. Can you explain me that? Can you explain me why other fans don't cause problems? During whole EURO we had following incidents:

    1. Russian fans threw flare during match (8 July).
    2. Russian fans were crying racists insults during match with Czechs (8 July)
    3. Russian fans assaulted stewards in Wroclaw - Russians vs Poles (8 July).
    4. Russian fans made brawl in one restaurant in Wroclaw - Russians vs Russians (8 July).
    5. Russian fans started fight in pub in Wroclaw - Russians vs whole world (8 July).
    6. Croatian fans started brawl in Poznan - Croatians vs Polish Police (9 July).
    7. Polish fans attacked Russians - Poles vs Russians (12 July).

7 Incidents - 5 started by Russians, 6 involving Russians. Can you comment that?
I can comment - among russians is a group of "true fans", and they caused point 1 and 2. point 3 was a mistake of stewards, when they provoked the mob. I do not know what is pp 4,5. But the most violative was incident 7, when polish fan mobs attacked plain russian fans, kinda football tourists. look at numbers - more than 120 poles arrested only in episode 7. so if we exceed in number of relatively small episodes, you win on number of involved people and range of violations.

and did not read this, but want to answer, that some russians can say - it is a real bad idea to visit Poland at all. and what? March - is a tradition, and Poland must respect it... for example, if someday polish fans will want to march in Moscow - why not? Moscovites MUST respect their will. I think so.

you're ridiculous. You're the one talking about your mother's opinion on Russians, about your pub visits, about Nazis, about KKK and whatever else you could come up with. And then you've got the nerve to say to others they derail the thread and should make a different topic.

People doing their job provoked a mob. But nationalistic flag waving does not provoke mobs.

When you twats learn to argue rationally like grown men, not using a point system and inane fabrications of exemption, you'll understand what is happening.

So, one simple request to put an end to this absurdity. SHUT THE FUCK UP!!!!!

    Also, you're all morons. This...is a fact.

Are you f*** crazy? Doing somebody's job is provoking the mob for you??? Stewards are not the police. They cannot be rude or use any violence. If you were familiar with the specific situation, you would know such people are often disabled and have some impediments as, according to the Polish regulations, you get tax reliefs if you employ disabled people in Poland. So any security agencies employ people with disabilities and pay them the minimal wage. For exaple, my father is 63 and he's a security guy in a local factory. He is totally non-violent and can barely walk as his previous job, he had been doing for 30 years, 6 days a week, 14-16 hours a day, ****ed up his legs. He earns an equivalent of €250 a month.
So the stewards' job was to detain the people who fired the flares and check their IDs. Is it a provocation???

You cannot accuse the Polish police of not taking their job seriously, at least, what cannot be said about the Russian police when a Polish journalist was beaten up in Moscow a few years ago.

I'm happy about it, as well.

Ad interim, the Russian fans have bought a lot of extra tickets for the Russia-Greece metch, as the Gringos have not bought too many tickets, presumably because of the crisis.
Kommersant reported, "a few hundred serious guys is going to visit Warsaw on Saturday"

    1. seems if your job is a social security protection, you must do it in the most social secured way. Not entering the mob of football youngsters, with claims to some of them(may be excessive?). and making the mess there. what outcome are you expecting there, except of mess? moreover it is idiotic to send people with disabilities to regulate fans mobs. I doubt this stewards are able to manage polish fans too. I think so.
Russian fans had not a strategic or tactic goal to attack polish stewards, else they ll attack them everywhere. This particular mess was very short, looks like repulse to stewards and nothing else. also if im wearing a shirt with Red Star(kinda soviet symbol), it is not a reason to seize me. Obviously the youngster who was beating the steward with cam, kinda kungfu, is outrageous asshole. and must be punished, and some fans from the mob too.
