    Arvydas Sabonis, a former famous Lithuanian and NBA player, now a head of the Lithuanian Basketball Federation (LBF) visited a military unit in Rukla, Lithuania. Together with commander of the armed forces, general Arvydas Pocius and Minister of Defence Rasa Jukneviciene he signed cooperation treaty between the LBF and Armed Forces. All three got a chance to fire 50 cal. machine gun

    Working together

    Tapa, Estonia - In final preparation for the beginning of Saber Strike 2012, Pennsylvania National Guard Soldiers and Airmen finalize their workstations in preparation for the upcoming simulation exercise with the Estonian Army.     Armed Forces Salute

    The U.S. Marine Drum & Bugle Corps performs during the inaugural performance of the Friends of the National War World II Memorial 2012 Concert Series at the World War II Memorial in Washington June 14. The free concert coincided with National Flag Day and the U.S. Army 237th birthday. The D&B closed its concert by playing "Armed Forces Salute," a medley of each branch of service song.

    Static line jump

    Competitors conduct a static line jump from a C-130 aircraft during Fuerzas Comando 2012 at the Colombian National Training Center on Fort Tolemaida, June 13, 2012. Fuerzas Comando, established in 2004, is a U.S. Southern Command-sponsored special forces skills competition and senior leader seminar which is conducted annually. This event is aimed at enhancing training and strengthening regional and multinational cooperation, mutual trust, readiness and interoperability of special operations forces in the region. Special Operations Command South serves as the U.S. execution agent for the exercise.

    Bridge building

    After floating across a large body of water, combat engineers assigned to the 652nd Engineer Company prepare to off-load tactical vehicles using a pontoon-style bridge system while on Fort McCoy, Wis.

    Mass casualty exercise

    Marksmanship guidance

    SSG Christopher Camaioni, an infantryman from the 1st Battalion, 14th Infantry Regiment gives guidance to soldiers of the 7th Royal Australian Regiment as they provide suppressive fire on enemy targets during their live fire exercise on June 6. The exercise is part of the Theatre Security Cooperation Program designed to ensure security in the Pacific region by utilizing allied forces in combined operations.

    Suppressive Fire

    They purchased two from Sweden, but I was under the impression SafeBoats had recieved a contract to build +/- 50 of them under the name "Riverine Command Boat".

    Have none of these 50 odd entered service?

    If not then those two have got to be the most photographed vessels in the USN the number of pictures of them appearing every month.....
